MARIE WALEWSKA aka CONQUEST Long Daybill Movie poster 1937 Greta Garbo
Original Australian hand litho long daybill approximately 15" x 35" , folded as issued, fair – good condition, the top white border has been trimmed off. the poster was found under floor coverings and there are black spots in places throughout the poster, edge wear (see enlarged photo). Despite the defects, the artwork is complete and it would be a fairly easy job to linen back the poster.
"Long" daybills were produced in Australia until 1941 when they were replaced by the more familiar smaller format.
