HOUSE OF WAX Daybill Movie Poster Original or Reissue?

The House of Wax was one of a number of films produced in the early 50s in 3D. Some cinemas in Australia were not equipped to screen the film in 3D and this may be the reason why two different Australian daybills were printed for the title – one proclaiming the film as "the first feature produced by a major studio in 3D" and the other with no mention of 3D.

There is no proof as to which daybill came first but my best guess is that they were both produced for the original release. Maybe a press sheet or press book might turn up and shed some light on this.

The 3D version is a lot easier to find than the red style daybill and the scarcity probably affects the value but I prefer the 3D version.
