Original Australian hand litho long daybill approximately 15" x 40" , folded as issued, poor condition, screening details top border, edge wear, edge chips, paper loss through the image area (see enlarged photo).
 
"Long" daybills were produced in Australia until 1941 when they were replaced by the more familiar smaller format.

Starring Nora Swinburne and the World Famous Hagenbeck Wild Animals.

This film had limited sceenings in Australia and was shown at Johnson’s Theatre, Broken Hill which opened in 1915. In 1930 it introduced the ‘talkies’ to Broken Hill. The first feature film was Fox Movietone ‘Follies of 1929′ and a Mickey Mouse cartoon. It could seat up to 1200 people, it was hot, stuffy and very little fresh air so on hot nights it was turned into an outdoor theatre.
