ALL THIS AND HEAVEN TOO 1940 Charles Boyer Bette Davis VINTAGE Original Movie Trade Ad
Original Australian trade ad centerfold 12" x 19" folded once, very good condition, staple holes in fold, text on the rear. This trade ad is the centerfold from Everyones Trade magazine released only to Australian cinemas in the 20s and 30s. The magazine was printed in small quantities and only released to cinema owners. These magazines generally featured superb full colour centerspreads promoting a current title. In many cases these posters are the only original paper that has been seen for some titles. The centerfolds were lavishly printed on high quality paper with unique artwork that was not used elsewhere – often superior to the poster art. Very few have survived. These magnificent items have been part of my personal collection for many years.

Rachel Field's novel is based on the true story of Field's great-aunt, Henriette Deluzy Desportes, a French governess who fell in love with the Duc de Praslin, her employer. When Praslin's wife, the Duchesse, was murdered, Henriette was implicated. It was a real-life scandal that brought down France's King Louis-Philippe in 1847.
