Very Rare Style B ROLLED Original One sheet Movie poster approximately 27″ x 40″, very good – fine condition, minor edge wear (see enlarged photo for condition). NOTE: A well respected collector contacted me with the following information about this poster:“Fred Dekker the director of the movie has said that the image was concept art for a potential poster but it was never used (at least not that he knew of). I have a feeling it was probably pulled due to marketing, since the film went through so many different add campaigns and poster designs because the studio was so unclear on how to market the film.”
The poster came from a collection found in Melbourne. The collector acquired it through his connections with the Australian distributor but there is a good possibility that the poster was printed in the US for International release.

The Monster Squad is a 1987 American comedy horror film directed by Fred Dekker and written by Dekker and Shane Black, who met as classmates at UCLA. Peter Hyams was one of the executive producers. It was released by TriStar Pictures on August 14, 1987.
