 And congratulations to our winner …… . for the correct answer that Ray Milland starred in Alfred Hithchock’s Dial M for Murder as a retired tennis player who hatched an elaborate plot to murder his wife played by Grace Kelly. Dial M for Murder was filmed pretty much as a stage play and Hitchcock used an innovative technique of very long takes meaning that the actors had to be spot on with their queues and lines. This was very demanding particularly on Ray Milland because he had a huge amount of dialogue to remember. One mistake meant starting again from scratch but with 3 very experienced actors in Grace Kelly Ray Milland and Bob Cummings filming went very smoothly. Hitchcock also filmed Dial M For Murder in 3D and the audience in the cinemas were issued with special glasses to view the film. Dial M for Murder should be on everyones must see list
