Devil’s Fire, the international theatrical release of the episode “Warming by the Devil’s Fire” of “The Blues”, the 2003 Charles Burnett, Clint Eastwood, Mike Figgis, Marc Levin, Richard Pearce, Martin Scorsese, and Wim Wenders PBS music part-documentary-part-recreation television (TV) series (seven episodes about the history of Blues music) starring Nathaniel Lee Jr., Tommy Redmond Hicks, and Susan McWilliams and featuring Blues music greats (and musicians who are fans) such as Jeff Beck, Nick Cave, Eric Clapton, The Coasters, Willie Dixon, Fats Domino, Mick Fleetwood, John Lee Hooker, Lightnin Hopkins, Son House, Howlin’ Wolf, B.B. King, Little Richard, Taj Mahal, John Mayall, Little Milton, Van Morrison, Lou Reed, Ike Turner, and Muddy Waters, to name just a few! Note that this particular episode was directed by Charles Burnett, and while we know that at least five other episodes were given an individual theatrical release, we do not know if the remaining episodes were, but it seems likely.
